Frequently Asked Questions About L2Kit
Detailed answers about submitting Lineage 2 servers, free and paid placement, moderation, directory sections, advertising statuses and published information updates.
How L2Kit Works
Basic information about the directory purpose and the responsibility of listed projects.
What is L2Kit?
L2Kit is an information ranking and announcement directory for independent Lineage 2 servers. It collects opening dates, chronicles, rates, server types and key project features.
Is L2Kit a game server?
No. L2Kit does not operate game servers, distribute the game client, manage listed projects or make decisions on behalf of their owners.
Does listing guarantee the quality of a game server?
No. Publication confirms that a project passed the basic directory moderation, but it does not guarantee quality, stability, security or fulfilment of promises by a specific server administration.
Server Application and Moderation
Submission form requirements, the L2Kit button and the review performed before publication.
How do I add a Lineage 2 server to the directory?
Open the Add Server page, complete the required fields, select a placement method and submit the application. The project then receives the Pending moderation status.
Which information is required?
You must provide the project name, official website, primary rate, chronicle, opening date and an owner contact. Types and additional features should be selected only when they are actually used.
How does free placement work?
Free placement requires the L2Kit button to be installed on the project website and successfully verified. The button must remain accessible after the application is approved.
What is checked during moderation?
The review covers website availability, domain accuracy, required information, opening date, chronicle, rate, selected features, duplicate submissions and compliance with the directory rules.
Why can an application be rejected?
Reasons may include an unavailable or substitute website, incorrect domain, duplicate project, inaccurate information, malicious redirects, a missing required button or an unreachable owner.
Publication, Categories and Discovery
How a server appears in the ranking and how visitors find projects by their characteristics.
When will the server appear on the website?
A server is published only after its application is approved. Review time depends on information completeness, website availability and the current moderation queue.
How do chronicles, rates and server types work?
Chronicles and rates are used for dedicated collections, while server types and information attributes clarify project features. This helps visitors find suitable Lineage 2 servers faster.
How is a server position in the list determined?
Position depends on the directory section, opening date and advertising status. TOP and VIP receive the placement defined by their format, while other projects follow the sorting rules of the relevant directory block.
Advertising Statuses and Paid Placement
Differences between advertising formats and the placement approval process.
What do TOP and VIP statuses mean?
These are advertising levels with different positions, card designs, visual emphasis and display periods. Advertising status does not remove the mandatory server moderation requirement.
Can a server be listed without the L2Kit button?
Yes. Adding a server to the general list without installing the button is a paid placement and costs 5 USDT. Payment is arranged after the application is reviewed.
How do I order TOP, VIP or banner advertising?
Open the Advertising page, select a suitable format and contact the administration. Include the server domain, preferred position, placement period and launch date.
Information Updates and Reports
What to do after publication or when an error is discovered.
How can published server information be updated?
Contact the administration through Telegram or email. Provide the project name, domain, current information and an exact list of the requested changes.
How do I report an error or violation?
Send the server link and issue description through Telegram @l2kit or email [email protected]. The administration will review the information.
Could Not Find the Answer?
Submit a server, review the advertising formats or contact the L2Kit administration about a question that is not covered in the help section.
